Key Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Design and define scalable, maintainable system architectures across both frontend and backend components for complex applications.
- Feature Development: Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions and deliver new features using React, Node.js, and data storage with MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
- Code Quality & Standards: Conduct code reviews to ensure clean code practices, system security, and engineering standards, as well as produce clear and maintainable technical documentation.
- Mentorship & Team Enablement: Act as a mentor for junior and mid-level developers, helping strengthen technical skills, system understanding, and overall engineering maturity within the team.
- Problem Solving & Performance Optimization: Analyze and resolve complex system issues, performance bottlenecks, and production-level bugs at an architectural level.
Qualifications
- Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, or demonstrable experience at a senior-level capability.
- Technical Mastery: Strong hands-on expertise in TypeScript, React (Hooks, Context API / state management), and Node.js (Express or NestJS).
- Database & Data Modeling: Solid understanding of database design for both relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) systems, including schema design and query optimization.
- DevOps & Engineering Practices: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and unit / integration testing (e.g., Jest, Testing Library).
- Communication & Mindset: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A proactive, can-do attitude and a strong sense of ownership when facing challenges.
