Job Summary
We seek a talented and enthusiastic Mid-level UX/UI Designer to join our expanding team. You will help conceptualize and create intuitive, user-centric digital experiences for web and mobile applications. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior designers and to guide experience design across multiple product areas. You have a passion for design, a eager for knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the user experience and interface design process, ensuring a user-centric approach to product development.
- Conduct user research, analyze user feedback, and gather insights to inform design decisions. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, to translate business requirements into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and iterate on designs for optimal user experience.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems to ensure consistency across digital products.
- Advocate for and implement accessibility standards in design to ensure inclusive user experiences.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior UX/UI designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
- Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into simple and elegant design solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and iterate on designs based on feedback.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior designers and contribute to design strategy.
- Showcase a portfolio that highlights the thought process, problem-solving skills, and successful outcomes of past design projects.
Nice to Have
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
